Key Performance Area:

  • Prepare and maintain documentation as per AS9100 and NADCAP requirements.
  • Develop APQP and PPAP documentation in accordance with project and standard requirements, including AS9145, AS9102, and IAQG.
  • Conduct audits for FOD (Foreign Object Debris), product safety, configuration, and traceability.
  • Coordinate with customers for periodic project updates and address clarifications, technical discussions, and open points related to the project.
  • Lead the quality team to implement and maintain AQMS requirements for hose assembly and end-fitting manufacturing in the aerospace division.
  • Possess strong knowledge of FAI (AS9102) documentation preparation and ensure error-free submission to customers.
  • Create work instructions and provide training to shop-floor teams to effectively implement customer-specific and ASD requirements.
  • Develop configuration matrices and baselines for individual parts, maintain configuration management, and ensure document control through configuration audits.
  • Identify risks, create risk matrices for all processes, and implement action plans for high-risk parameters.
  • Prepare Specification Review matrices, Consumption matrices, and communicate requirements effectively throughout the organization.
  • Possess strong knowledge of product safety, FOD (Foreign Object Debris), counterfeit parts, and product obsolescence requirements.
  • Understand customer requirements and effectively communicate them to the shop floor and sub-tier suppliers to ensure compliance with AQMS and AS standards.
  • Review and interpret standards (ASTM, SAE, MIL, AS) based on product and customer requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of in-house and supplier products.
  • Identify root causes using 5Why and Cause-and-Effect Diagram analyses, and implement solutions to reduce internal rejection rates (ppm).
  • Identify and implement poka-yoke mechanisms at the process and assembly stages to prevent potential customer complaints.
