Key Performance Area:

• Ensures effective operation to meet established schedules and production requirements while maintaining costs. Develops plans for the efficient use of materials, machines, and manpower to achieve manufacturing cost, quality, and inventory management targets.
• Monitors customer delivery performance, cost reduction programs, lead-time improvements, and quality improvement projects that enhance customer value and business unit results.
• Establishes Lean and quality goals and ensures the efficient integration of factory, logistics, maintenance, and quality to achieve targets for the assigned area.
• Ensures proper best practice sharing and implementation in coordination with Caterpillar’s hose assembly facilities globally.
• Serves as a business liaison to manage relationships around pricing, customers, and capital upgrades.
