Key Performance Area:

• Basic knowledge of raw material classification, including stainless steel, alloy steel, aluminum, and titanium.
• Selection of filler rods for joining similar and dissimilar materials in the GTAW process.
• Knowledge of weld test sample preparation and qualification, including WPS, PQR, and WPQ.
• Understanding of weld groove preparation, fit-up, and X-ray inspection of joints.
